I was worried I was over-reacting.

Nope.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Joe just referred to me by my maiden name.

Kinda funny considering it's our anniversary!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Sounds like time to start looking again at the very least, vw. That really blows.

Good news on Potential #1 coming through though!

ION, my cop friend surprised me and my best friend by joining us for dinner last night. After dinner, he let me try some of my Kung Fu (blocks and escapes, not hits) in the parking lot. He says I'm getting good, but he's still better. And either he doesn't know his own strength, or I'm a bigger wuss than previously realized. I wanted to try the moves to get out of a bear hug, but he put such a strong hug on me (and so fast), that he bruised me around the ribs a little. No problems breathing or anything dramatic like that, but every time I stand up, my underwires dig right in! I really wish that bra-free was an option, but no. t /whine

Thank you everyone for your validation. I was worried I was over-reacting.

Not in the least! What they're doing is not acceptable.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Kinda funny to think of you as a maiden

Happy Anniversary, Aimée & MM!

For our anniversary my hubby had our wedding cake sent to us in Maine. We never got to taste it on the wedding day (kosher issues kept my DH from being able to eat it, so we used a kosher cupcake for our "cake" cutting, and I never got a chance to have a real piece) so the baker on San Juan Island sent a little cake in pieces -- frozen cake, frozen icing, frozen raspberries -- and we put it together and decorated it on our anniversary day. It was yummy!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Joe just referred to me by my maiden name.

Heh.

I spent all last week being called my mother's maiden name. (Her grandfather was the one who first built/bought the cabin, so that's the family name that we're all attached to up there.)

[eta: And happy anniversary!]
