I'm kind of dreading going in to work today. I had to give a document to the pickiest, most demanding, and almost highest ranking of our people yesterday. She's the type who'll find something wrong even in something that's damn near perfect, and I'm really afraid this isn't close to that. Could be unpleasant.

Sore throat on one side sounds like either strep or some other sort of tonsilitis. My recommendation (based on no medical degree, but something like three bouts of tonsillitis in the past year) would be gargle with salt water, drink hot tea with honey, get some of those Halls cough drops with the throat-numbing stuff, and get thee to a doctor if it doesn't get better in a day or two.
