This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Perkins, I bet the Neptune Society send a receipt type thing to people's next of kin when the contract is signed.

Excellent pics, connie!

I can't call the vet till 11am, which is exactly when I get to work. So, I really should wait till noon or so. I'm very anxious about this. Tell me everything's gonna be ok...

Raq's pediatrician is okay and the fire is under control.

Fire is under control at last news. And the ped sent me an SMS message saying that their area was missed, but she and her family are going to the islands for the next coupla weeks.

I wish *I* was going to the islands.

flea's haircut is perfect on her.

I need to come up with a grocery list, but I am whole-heartedly sick of any food I make. The choices are limited due to the fact that I live with a food-phobic supertaster. Meals must include meat (or eggs), but cannot include any type of seafood or fish, unless the meal is tuna salad. Pasta and rice are verboten, as is curry.

After a year of making dinner every night except maybe 7 times, I'm out of ideas.

It sounds like the possible things Toto could have are very treatable, vw. I hope it's the easiest, whichever that may be, and that he's not too uncomfortable meanwhile.

today is the first time this week I feel like I've gotten enough rest. I did nothing different last night, got the same amount of sleep as every other night, yet I am relatively awake and chipper. Weird but nice. Usually I just more ane more tired all week until getting to work on Friday feels like summitting Everest.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ham and cheese omelets for him and exactly whatever you want for yourself? Man, that's crazy tough. If I were married to your husband, we'd both have starved to death long ago.

I'm all swoony over Lily and Annabel and their little wise, startled, owlish faces and big big eyes.

Also, MSBELLE!!1!

Ohh, poor Toto. I'm vibing for him and for you, vw.

I don't want to go to work; it's three blocks of fog and wind and I just don't wanna. I'm also dreading knowing that the fog will burn off around 1 or 2, and then settle back in by 5, so that when I get home I'll be all chilled and cranky and just want to huddle instead of go out and actually do something with the Friday nightness of it all. Also, I haven't gone out running for two days in a row; I shiver my way home, huddle on the couch chafing my hands and trying to warm my frozen ears, and fail miserably at talking myself into changing into workout clothes and going outside again. I know this seems ultra-whiny when so much of the country is staggering through a heat wave, but the foggy winter blahs in July? Suck.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, but the cool thing about living in San Francisco is that you can wear a leather jacket on almost any day of the year.

Living in SF did seriously fuck with my midwestern sense of seasons. Hottest season is Fall? What's up with that?

I'm lazy, and only want to make two meals (food for us, rice for Mal). But yeah, this is a big reason we ate out a lot in the States. Our food preferences have almost no overlap.

I just got accepted to the Msc I applied for in Sheffield University, and I remember some of the Buffistas helped me with the wording of my application a ways back, so thanks! Yay!
