I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do find it hard to get to the library these days, with short hours and no parking and glayvin, but that mostly means I don't check anything out and buy stuff to read, instead.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Apropos of boredom, methinks I want to move to Canada. What are the Universities like over there?

Go McGill! Choose McGill!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Heh. Good advice.

I am in a fog now. Cramps tolerable. Brain not. I made someone a logo today. I'm hoping that not only do they like it, but that I spelled things right. Usually I only stress on the them liking it part.

Really not worth saying twice.

Thrive to spite them

The main library branch was built on land that at the time was being used as over flow parking for three churches.

It's also got one way streets on all sides.

All three churches have Wednesday activities so there is pretty much no on street parking.

There was a library overflow lot, but that's now turned into some kind of permit parking.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I would like it noted for the record, although I am horrible about fines--I ALWAYS return the books. Unless they are completely lost or damaged beyond repair. Honest.

Punishingly Intricate

this actually ended up being the only time I was ever in trouble in school, but that's neither here nor there

Through elementary/middle school and really most of high school, the only time I got in trouble was when I wrote "Fuck You" up on the board while Miss Foster was out of the room. I had to sit in a little cubby hole for 1/2 an hour or so but I kind of think she didn't tell my parents. I was never punished at home for it. Miss Foster ruled. I was not saying "Fuck You" to her at all! It just seemed like it would be a funny thing to write on the door.

Cindy, your dad gave good advice!

ION it is 82 degrees in my office. HR just decreed that we can wear shorts tomorrow. woowhatev. I dug up emails from TWO years ago talking about this very same problem. And about how the management company was going to fix everything up. feh.

Thank god we'll be out of this building in the fall.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have some serious fines waiting for me at the library. Sigh. In my defense, I did have a broken face and lots of Percoset. Such things help to make you forget that there are books to return.

Juliana -- you should ask if the library will let you pay the fine off. I've done that before, I had to pay each time I checked out until the fine was paid off, but it was only a few dollars each time.
