Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, PC, how NOT fun. I hope the phone call is going well.

Well, I've interviewed potention three and potential four. Potential three was our friend, the reporter. He was in and out of here pretty quickly, but seemed to like the place (he took an application, which I took to be a decent sign). I was right in that he has a big place right now, but since he's in Baghdad so much, he's looking to just rent a room until that assignment is over.

Potential four went quite well as well. She seemed very nice...a little perky, but not as much as I imagined from her original e-mail. We chatted quite a bit, and she told me about some of the really disgusting apartments she had seen. That made me feel a little better about the cleanliness of our place. She also got along well with Toto.

So, I think we have some good people to potentially choose from. Of course, all of them are seeing other places, so we may not get our first pick, but we'll see. I've got one more appointment at 5pm.

Now, I must figure out if I have the energy to do laundry.

What is even happening?

How many times do I have to tell you people? Pretty people make you go thud.

Energy creatures make you go thunk, which is CLEARLY the sound ::head desk:: makes, in their meeting.

::raises eyebrows::

You never see the Celine posters, and hear the Cher tapes until it's too late.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

You never see the Celine posters, and hear the Cher tapes until it's too late.

By that time they're already plotting your doom and trying to suck you into hell.

I have to say that potential two is currently my favorite, even though he's a bit of a neat freak. I liked potential three, but he seemed a little high strung...which kind of makes sense with the whole reporter gig. Potential four is probably my second favorite, with potential one being completely off the chart. I didn't even give him an application.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wha?? Sorry I read about the pretty and just swooned, caught my head on the desk on my way down too. Sorry about the noise.

I've spent much longer here than I ever did at the Bronze, but I am not ashamed of my legacy, darn it. The Bronzers were right about this. Thud is too gentle of a sound to be made on purpose, and thunk is too forceful of a sound to be made from fainting dead away from the pretty. Embrace the truth, Hec.

I am officially stressed. What if I fuck this up and pick the wrong person?
