Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I managed another hour of sleep, during which I had a nightmare that I was pregnant again.

Screams forever... And by this I mean the idea of *me* having same nightmare, or God forbid, being pregnant again, not you.

Thing is, I'd like to be pregnant again...in 2-3 years, once our finances are more stable, Annabel is more self-sufficient (not to mention potty trained), and I have 2-3 manuscripts complete and out there seeking homes. But not now. Oh God, not now. The worst of this nightmare was how very realistic it was--it was exactly my real life, only without the visit from Aunt Flo that happened two weeks ago. It took me at least ten minutes after I woke up to get my sense of reality back.

Oh, BTW, AmyLiz, is your profile address still good, what with all the moving and stuff you've done? I've been meaning to send you an email talking publishers and agents, if you're still up for such a thing. (No rush, no pressure--it's just looking to be a quiet week for me, so I'e been working on my priority lists.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Is it is a bug birthday today? I looked everywhere that I should be able to find out -- except, you know, catching up in Natter.

I am at massive places of gronk this morning. I slept. I got up. I showered. I drove to work. I troubleshot a network. I ate a cookie. Still gronk.

Though I have to vote for a new mayor tomorrow and that will be exciting because I cringe when my city makes national news for being so amazingly stupid (and, yes, often indicted) but I get to sleep in too. It's like Sophie's Choice. I have to choose between a goverment that works and watching The Daily Show.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and Toto really was pretty well-behaved.

Except for the near arm-humping.

Happy birthday, vw. I hope it's stress free and fun full.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VW!!

From the article about Wonder Woman:

It will be like what happened to pirate movies after Geena Davis starred in "Cutthroat Island."

Johny Depp and Orlando Bloom are going to make a Big Gay Woman Woman?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Chocolypse Now is wrong. It is, indeed, wronger than a wrong thing.

Ok, I've had enough of the back tire on my bike going flat. It's past time to get a new innertube in there, and more than past time for a new tire, into the bargain. Wanna go to Walmart tonight, Daniel? We might be able to find a vase too.

But will Miss Piggy play Wonder Woman or the Queen of the Amazons when the Muppets are forced to undertake their version of it?
