beth, all the best to your m-i-l. Antibiotics should clean up the Lyme's, particularly since they've caught it so quickly. I hope this doesn't exacerbate her other health problems. Peace to you, dh and family.

All sorts of interesting things in the NYTimes today. They've developed a pilot of "This American Life" to play on Showtime! But it might not happen. Still, interesting thought.
And a woman got stabbed in a subway station at 1:45pm. That just seems weird. Mugged in the middle of the afternoon?? Freaky.
I got up late, laid down on my couch, and fell back asleep. THis is rather bad for my needing to get up tomorrow morning, but it felt so nice...

Yes, they are doing IV antibodies and it is messing with her system - but regular would do that to her too. So I am hopeing they took her into the hospital to 1) knock it out fast 2) keep an eye on her and her reactions to everything.

It isn't a birthday present- DH just decided that's who was getting his next guitar. L is always trying to play other people's guitars. He doesn't know how to play the guitar yet, but he is takeing piano lessons. He was already picking out some notes. DH and another friend are going to give him some lessons. It will be interesting to see. Dh is very invested in music theory - so bringing lessons down to a 7 yr olds level should be interesting.
