Today has been all about recording things onto DVD for me. Got Sign O the Times transferred, seeminglhy, but when I "finalized" the disc it turned into a coaster. Alas. So, I;ve been trying again with The Tick. So far so good, when the disc is full I'll try to figure out what's what, I guess.
My friends are supposed to come over in the next 10 minutes for dinner and some sort of entertainment. I could use a shower. They will probably be late, but if they're not, I can't take a < 10 min shower, so I would be wet and naked when they arroved. And we are not wet naked friends.
How'd Emily's test go? Well, I hope. It is over and she can start forgetting some of that stuff she's been ruthlessly packing into her brain, I trust.

It was 49ers Family Day over at Kezar Stadium (across from our apt.). So we went over and Emmett did the bungie harness thing where you get launched and bounce on a trampoline while the bungies shoot you up about 30 feet in the air. Fun!
We got caramel apples and watched the 49ers Cheerleaders do a routine to a Donna Summer medley, then we were fascinated by the mascot who had Powerskip things attached to his feet. They're like...pogo stilts, I guess.

We're back at the house watching the World Cup Softball (go Team USA) and playing card games.
Fay needs a wet naked friend. Who wants to help her out?

Well, no matches from last night's speed dating. Foolish mortals. Ah well, there were a number of women I would've liked to see again, but no one I really felt I clicked with that well.
Had my last therapy session this morning. It's all good. She provided a couple of suggestions for my online profile, and then we just wrapped up on what I'd gained over the last couple of years. ("A lot more free time.")

I had planned to get up and do things today. Somehow, I was sidetracked, and it's nearly 9pm and I haven't even gotten dressed yet. Good lord.
Love Toto's b-day party pics. I especially adore the candle(?) thing on the wall. It is adorable. Did you get it locally, vw? I've pretty much given up on candles since I got the cats, but something like that just might work.

Still haven't gotten the cable internet package. Last Saturday, the cable store was closed (even though it said outside that they were open). I'm beginning to think that it is fate and I am not supposed to have big basic cable, local and long distance phone, litespeed cable internet, and cell phone at one low, low price. Especially because I was lazy today and didn't make it back to the store. Of course, I suppose I could just call the 800 number. Hmmm. Fate is a bitch to figure out.
