Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I mean, that's downright suicidal, even *talking* about an ugly cake when I'm around.

The sad effects of overexposure to candle fumes.

Oh, and now we get The Electrocutioner weighing in....

Did your mama go hungry.

My mama would rather starve to death than eat that ugly cake.

Uh huh, which suprised me when she said she wanted to go that route. She's done wedding cakes before on the side, but nothing this elaborate.

That is so cool that she is able to and wants to do this for you guys. What a present! My best friend just made the wedding cake for her sister-in-law's wedding this past weekend. She's been a baker forever and her cakes are always amazing and delicious but she's recently taken the decorating thing to a new level. Have i linked to her Chicken Cake?

Or the cake she made for our friends' engagement party?

She's crazy cake baker! I'm getting a Pie in Cake for my birthday this year.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Maria, this is shaping up to be the biggest, fattest, italianist wedding in the history of time.

I cannot WAIT to see the pictures.

Heh. By comparison, this is going to be small. The last wedding my parents went to in Brooklyn, there were over 500 guests. My ten piece orchestra could have fit in the percussion section of their band--20 pieces I think?

There will be lots and lots of pics. The photographer has promised close to 1000 proofs for us to choose from.

Though I'm a little afraid of her wedding cake, to tell the truth. It sounds one step away from becoming sentient and taking over the world. Cake A.I.

I don't think it's one step away...it already is a living tower of fondant. How else was my MIL convinced that simple just wouldn't do?

Lisa, those cakes are phenomenal! She's got talent.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

The chicken cake is awesome!

(David Boreanaz would be peeing himself right now! - He's afraid of chickens.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Amazing cakes, how sweet the icing.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Of course, I'll never make a man of any of vw's cousins because her cake is so ugly.

Fondant is cool but not really that tasty. BUT you can put cake with very delicious frosting underneath it.

She's got talent.

She really does. Everybody at the engagment party was asking if she was going to go into cake baking full time (she's an ER doc in her non-baking life) and she said she'd have to charge like $900 a cake to make it worth her time. They just take so long to make!

GEEERONK am I tired. I wonder if anybody'd notice if I slept at my desk for the next 20 minutes before driving home?
