Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Morning All.

Finally caught up after 2 days of ComicCon, then 2 days out of town.

Lessee if I remember anything atall...Stephanie, beautiful family...Anne, great hair...Go BT with the both-feet jumping (that made sense in my head...not so much in print I'm thinking) - yay billytea for getting things going with verve and enthusiasm (much more coherent)...I think that's all I got. (Can't meara over the course of 3 days of catchup).

Cass, you find someplace local that's good for laptop repairs, please to let me know? Thanks, still haven't made up my mind whether it's worth it to attempt to bring my laptop back from the undead, but it'd be good to have references just in case.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You know how I donated blood this week? They run a cholesterol test for donors now, and you can call a couple of days after you donate to get the results. It's just total cholesterol -- doesn't break it down into LDL and HDL, etc., and obviously the donor hasn't fasted beforehand.

July 2004 my cholesterol was 239 (yeah, I know), and today? 201. HELL yeah.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, Steph!

Two hours and forty minutes until I leave for a weekend in Charlottesville. I am so ready.

Quite seriously, the only consistent change I've made is eating oatmeal for breakfast every morning. Because my commitment to exercising goes in cycles, and my eating patterns -- well, let's say my diet isn't restricted. At all.

Go oatmeal! I'm going to write the Quaker Oat people and tell them to put me in a commercial.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mr and Mrs. Rio P. Saget. Wow.

(The "P" is for...Persnickety!)

Loving the text and subtext reading with Lily.

We started to read to Emmett when he was three months old. He saw this as an opportunity to put the board books in his mouth. We kept the books out of his reach and kept reading and he really liked being lulled by the voices after a while (couple months?) and it's been part of his bedtime ritual ever since. This last year has been the year of All Roald Dahl All Of The Time.

Waiting for a Raq Report.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Will do.

Congrats, Steph! That is amazing. I have been eating oatmeal every morning too. Because I can make it at work though. Glad to know that I am combating the price of stress on my heart with breakfast.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Cass, did you see Maria's post in natter saying it looked like your function keystroke combo to enable the laptop fake 10 key was on? Did you try hitting it again to turn it off, or is it just stuck in it?

move out and draw fire

Waiting for a Raq Report

Oddly, I've been sending out an e-mail newsletter for the past few years called The Raq Report.

So, Raq Report Special Haircut Edition: Shorter than I'd been thinking. Barely brushes my shoulders. Very curly. Color still dark warm brown.

Go Steph!

So, been uploading a few more photos. Anybody wanna see one of the cutest cat pics ever?

Or "stealthy"?

Here's me at Universal Studios It was a much more exciting picture last July than it is this July.
