Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, okay. It works fine ending it there, I think.

I stilll mail order zip up boots and don't return them even though they don't fit over my calves in the hope that someday they will. I don't know if that's optimistic or deluded.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't know if that's optimistic or deluded.

You're...Optiluded!

Oh, I like that. I'll add it to my tagline.

Boy, I hope the Warped Tour site is showing an accurate order for when the bands are playing this Saturday. I don't trust my car for trips out of town, and the last bus leaving the area of the concert is at 6:30 pm. If Billy plays late, I may be looking for a motel room in the neighborhood.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Jessica London and Silhouettes have boots that fit curvy calves quite well. (I have a pair from Silhouettes, and they fit my calves, so trust me on this.)

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hey All.

askye, her editorial struck me as very insensitive. If you do choose to send your letter, it reads very intelligent and thoughtful. (Though there are a couple of el's that should be le's in the second para. And the "recently editorial" in the first para should be "recently published" or just "recent" - depending on which you prefer. Please tell me this isn't bitchily pedantic of me, I just naturally edit. No offense, I hope).

Glad no one's friends/fam are injured (at least so far).

connie, so relieved to hear about your living sitch looking up.

I got my CAT boots yesterday, and they barely cover my monster calves, so I think you ought to be okay, juliana. Nora, have you tried Torrid for boots? My zip-ups from them fit me just like a "regular girl." Though they might not be in yet since the newer pink&fluffy Torrid pays more attention to seasons than the older gothier Torrid did.

And I've suddenly infected myself with boot lust. I need these: [link]

I would be so bad-ass in them. People would want to lick my boots all the time.

You should set some money aside for those.

Those are HOTT Steph. I've lusted after something similar from either Roaman's or Lane Bryant catalogs for a couple of years now. (I only talk myself down because boot season is so veryvery short in San Diego).

Optiluded!

I love this!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Askye, I definitely think you should send an email. Asshat woman.

ion, I cannot stop compulsively replaying Rodney McKay saying "In-vuln-erable" again and again and again, because he is just so cute. And John is hot like a hot thing. And I really do like SGA, despite, er, never having seen it.

It's funny, the relationship I have with shows-that-aren't-Whedon's. There's (for the most part) a different quality of fannish love. I mean, I want to watch SGA so I can better appreciate the fanfic. (Although actually, Alias owns my ass too. The writing isn't Mutant Enemy standard, imho, although it's generally good, and I'm not sure how much I trust their arc-building, but it's so shiny and actiony and the acting is, imho, VERY good. Cracking ensemble.)

...Er. There was maybe a point somewhere, but I was probably just trying to cover up my very very silly burgeoning crush on John and Rodney.

ioon, just heard from my WeeSister (who, lest we forget, was at Leeds University). Sounds like the London Bombers? Lived round the corner from her.

Nice.
