I am up. I do not want to be up.
This is me, every single hour of the day. Except those where I am, in fact, sleeping.
Sounds like pre-party obsessing to me, vw! A fine tradition.

Good point.
Weirdness. I just opened the container with Toto's carob cupcakes to check and see if the powdered sugar soaked in. One is missing. I'm pretty sure Emily wouldn't have given Toto one. I wonder if Not!Emily ate one. If so, that's kinda funny.
Bastet?
I doubt she could get the top off the Rubbermaid container, but everyone, except me, is a suspect right now until I can gather more information.
I have been so productive this morning and it's only 6:50. I have put the diapers on the wash and walked both dogs (separately because it's harder with Ellie). And I ate breakfast and fed the dogs. I haven't been this productive in weeks.
vw, have you heard the David Sedaris bit about being a detective. Different context, but it made me think of your missing cupcake.
I hear Ellie babbling in her bassinet, so i'd better get going...

No, I haven't. Sounds interesting...
Hi, Ellie! Go Stephanie, with all the productiveness!
Ellie is now sound asleep on my chest. She looks like a little sleeping comma.
vw, I heard that David Sedaris piece on This American Life. He talks about a few different things, but the funniest part is one summer someone in his family was..umm...wiping themselves with the family's bath towels. Every time I hear it, I laugh.
Oh, how funny!
And sweetie Ellie. I just loved those B&W pictures you guys had taken. They are amazing, and you guys are a really beautiful family.
I just wrote a big, sappy post about Toto in my LJ. I can't believe that it's his birthday and that he's 7. Craziness.
And, in party updates, I only have three dirty dishes that I need to wash. The house is clean and ready, except for setting the table, which I'll do tonight ('cause we can't seem to keep the cat off the table). I want to sweep the balcony, so people can go out there if they want to smoke or hang out or whatever. We're having like 16 people, so it's gonna be a leetle crowded in here, but much fun.
When I get home from work I have to finish the cake, make the bbq mini hot dogs, chocolate-covered strawberries and Toto's pizza. I'm in good shape, though. I'm excited. Of course, Toto is still sleeping, which is just about the sweetest thing on earth...possibly not sweeter than Ellie sleeping on Stephanie's chest, though.
I had a very productive day also, due largely to the fact that Mal got shots yesterday, and so has wanted to sleep lots and lots today.
Now I'm off to get my hair cut. We'll see if my stylist has any inspiration, coz I don't.
(If anyone has links to photos of longish curly hair with funky colors that doesn't look clownish, let me know?)
