Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Scallops are my second favorite meat. Mmmm... meat.

You take some of the chocolate, melt it, spread it on parchment paper, then chill till it hardens. Then you break it into pieces, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, then randomly insert them into the top of the cake.

wiping drool off keyboard

Dear, heavens. That sounds incredible! Take pictures when you're done.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

More food porn: [link] I had these (grit cakes at Top of the Hill in Chapel Hill, NC) last week and they were to die for. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ppffbbtt! I wouldn't be getting it cut "Hec-short" anyway, as I'm the one person that would make you say "You know, long hair is better." I look like Carol Burnett with any short cut.

Clearly lies as it is impossible to make Raquel look anything other than glamorous.

Check out the menu at Suppenkuche where we'll be eating on Saturday night before see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on IMAX. It's german food but very very good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Our grocery store makes a fabulous ham and butter sandwich. Baguette. Good ham, sliced thin. Good butter.

I had one of them on Sunday. It really is amazingly good, and I'm not even a ham fan.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There should be a jambon song.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"conference with so-and-so" covers a lot.
Yep.
and check the modified dates of certain files and use that to reconstruct my activities. If I make major changes to code I put the date in a comment, so sometimes I search for that. Emails often come in handy to determine when I started or finished something.
Also doing this. Especially checking what emails I sent, as emails are CYA gold here. Unfortunately.

I was complaining about this last week, when I only had to jot stuff down on paper, and this exchange took place:
me: I have to do a timesheet for yesterday and today. What did I do?
mfm: Bitched?????
me: Now if I only knew how to code that...
mfm: Stress management???

Frell, I worked on a job that was closed. The computer doesn't believe me.

Take pictures when you're done.

Oh, there will be pictures! Trust me!

Crossing my fingers, though, because I'm breaking my rule of testing recipes before serving them to guests. So, could be interesting.

ETA: Dog bone biscuits are in the oven. Next - carob cupcakes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Are Papua New Guineans particularly surly?

In parts of the country. Incidentally, in the study that rated Melbourne equal first in living quality, last place was claimed by Port Moresby.

Carob cupcakes just went in the oven. Now to give the oven a little break, I think I'll make the strawberry ice.
