Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Scary story. I was out with the fam one night, and on the way back from the washroom, my sister and I stopped to talk about my brother. Which he totally saw. So when he asked and wouldn't be put off by "girl talk" I told him we'd been doing Fuck, Chuck, or Marry, figuring he'd drop the subject. Yeah, no.

So for the next hour - FCM with my sister and brother, with my dad sitting at the table pretending not to hear. Oy.

Because books.

Oh my god, Stephanie, those pictures are lovely! I love the ones with all three of you, and the one where Ellie is lying on Joe's hand. So wee!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Steph, I mentioned this in LJ, but I need your snail mail address. Can you send it to my firstnamelastname@gmail.com address?

Trust my rage

the one where Ellie is lying on Joe's hand. So wee!

I love this one too. She looks so tiny compared to his hand. The internet is such a wonderful thing. Joe really wanted to see these pictures but there is *no way* I am sending them to Iraq, so now he can at least look at them.

Stunning. That picture from the airport when she was just born is still my fave, though.

To entertain you. My 83 year old mom was out on a picket line last week in support of some striking union workers. A 23 year old young woman activists told her what "an inspiration" she was. Mom replied "Thank you, but I'm not an inspiration yet."
