[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My mother once fell while cleaning out the cabinet over the refrigerator and broke her tailbone, adding evidence in support of my long-held conviction that housekeeping can kill you.

I have been painting my bedroom. A friend who is a far, far better painter than I came over to help. She's even coming back tomorrow for the second coat. I am very tired. Painting is evil and way more likely to kill you than housekeeping. This may explain why it's been something like 15 years since the bedroom has been painted.

I'm so glad you managed to go into work and stick it out, vw. I'm hoping that it gets a little easier each time.

Not saying anything about you taking after your mother.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I was a little scared by the recent announcement of deaths related to the Patch.

The what what? I was just reading about RU486 deaths today, though god forbid that would ever be relevant.

I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to being able to remember to take a pill every single day about the same time.

The only way my old roommate and I managed was to set the time at 11 pm. It meant that we used to freak out the guys we hung out with a lot by going "oh my god, 11" and pulling them out at the bar, but it worked better than am times ever did. Plus it helped that there were two of us. I couldn't do it on my own.

3. Gave blood after work. I donate really fast (5 minutes is the longest it's ever taken).

Heh. Takes me like 20 minutes, minimum, when they even let my low BP and low iron ass into the chair.

A friend of mine burned down her apartment from over zealous cleaning. I learned a valuable lesson, and I hope you do to.

That I'ma have to remember.

It's light blue with just a hint of gray in it, which keeps it from looking like a boy's nursery. I have darker smoky blue bedskirts and everything else is going to be white.

The what what?

The Patch may have triple the rate of strokes and blood clots than the pill.

Considering I've forgotten to brush my teeth in the past week, I think the pills out for me.

Ginger, that sounds really pretty. I painted my master bathroom sky blue and I love it. It's so soothing.
