You and Patrick are out this way from time to time. We'll have to be sure to get together on one of your upcoming visits.
Absolutely. Preferably when we have slightly better weather than we did last time.
(Though P. drives me a tad insane on that point -- he always says, "we shouldn't just go to St. Louis when it's cold, you should see it in nice weather and we can go to a Cardinals game." And then I say, fine, sounds great, you can set that up whenever you want. And then he doesn't, and it's Christmas again. But his mom's only been out there for two years now, so he may act on the visit SL in the summer impulse yet.)
My default status is not-dating.
Mine too. I'm not sure how to change this. Well, I am pretty sure how to change this, but it seems like it would involve interacting with people I don't know. And right there's the root of the problem . . .
Is it 6pm yet?
Edit: Oh, and someone promise me that the kids won't give me any trouble today.
Not yet, but getting there.
If they do, tell them that I'll come up there and tie them upside-down from a staircase.
Hey, all.
If somebody asked me about letting my SO do something, I'd give 'em Gloria Steinem's line about "Not mating well in captivity."(Assuming I EVER have one again, that is.) Some of these political things are about meeting people for me, not that I'm like "I'm not really a liberal. I'm just here to get laid." I care about the politics too.
I'm sorry she's not all over your profile, bt.
I used to think gaming=freakish. But that was before I became obsessed with a city I've never seen in meatspace. I...uh, haven't got a leg to stand on.
I'm not so good interacting with people I don't know, in person. But online? Much better. That's why I'm a fan of internet dating. You can post an ad and picture, you can chat via email as long as you want to feel comfortable, get to know them a little bit better, etc. The first time meeting F2F can be a bit nerve-wracking, but at least you know stuff about them beforehand.
