I was under the impression that I was your big comfy blanky.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sail, you're being paged in F2F. Vortex is going through your neighborhood on short notice.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hec! Quick question: Have either you (or Emmett) read Summerland, by Michael Chabon?

If not, you must. It's about baseball and the end of the world.

We have not, though I am aware of its existence and baseball focus.

What more can one ask for in a novel?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And a pepper bar!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wooo. Anne has apparently tapped into my psyche and revealed my lifelong obsession with Zeppelins.

Pepper bars are not necessary in fiction, though.

Jilli, Have you heard this Hannah Fury CD single?

In addition to the album versions of "Meathook" and "Love Today," the single includes a new song by Fury entitled "Angels & Absinthe," as well as her unique interpretations of Berlin's "The Metro," ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All" and Daniel Johnston's "True Love Will Find You in the End."

I've got the Voltaire songs! Thanks, Jilli.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, Have you heard this Hannah Fury CD single?

No. The only Hannah Fury I've heard is "Vampire Waltz".

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, I think you'd like her. Well, there are several songs of hers on the compilation I'm sending.

I presume you've got the live Rasputina record from Halloween 2004?
