Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Thankfully, I ran into one of the women from the beach. She took me to her home and it so happened that her husband was having an english lesson that morning. The teacher explained to the couple why I was in tears. We left Toby at their house and the husband drove me to Joe's school. Thankfully, I found him and he went home with me and let me in.
Okay, that's a really cool resolution. You poor baby. It must have been so frustrating up until then.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Stephanie, that's a lovely story.

My dad was staying here one night while I was in NOLA, and had the wrong key to get back into the building. This was at like two am - he had to go out to move my sister's car. (Don't ask.) A lady let him into the building with the comment "I know that dog." Good thing he took her with.

Gronk. I just woke up from a nap feeling like utter death. Now I'm running late to get together with people. Crapity.

Trust my rage

It must have been so frustrating up until then.

I rarely cry, but I was in tears that day. It didn't help that we had an apartment but non of our furniture or other things had arrived yet. We had a bed/couch/table/4 chairs from the consulate but that was it. And a 13inch TV with all Brazilian channels. I hated it there for the first 4-5 months. Once I made a few friends and got settled in, I was much happier. Part of my problem was that until we had an apartment, Toby (who was 5 months old) had to stay on a tiny porch in 90 degree weather at the house of these people I had just met. I missed everything in my life at that point and it made me miss my puppy even more.

brenda's story is familiar to me. It always seems that I know the dogs before I know their owners.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Anne it looks wonderful! I'm so jealous that you can wear that style.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Anne, that's a FANTASTIC cut on you! Very swanky -- like a lounge singer (NOT a lounge lizard -- big difference). It's so sleek and dramatic -- I love it!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Aiyeee! Anne you look insanely hot. Somebody should be kissing you right now.

I keep trying to tuck my hair behind my ear, then realizing there is no hair there to tuck.

That's right - I still don't have any pictures of your haircut either.

Thank god for Jessica and Anne.

Went to see "Mad Hot Ballroom" tonight--SO CUTE! And I kept picturing Fay saying "Bless!" because the children were so adorable and funny and OMG are they going to be embarassed in ten or fifteen years when their date finds out they were in that movie. Heh.

Also: hardly anyone I know has been on IM today, and I think it's because they were/are all off reading that book! Hmph.
