And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not A Tag Line But Should Be

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

NATLBSB = Not A Tag Line But Should Be. From back in the day.

Huh. I've been a Buffista for a while now, haven't I?

eta - this sounds dim. But I still don't feel particularly old-skool Buffista, and it only feels like I've been here for a bit, but...wow. It's been years now. In fact, I was here before here was here! Oh, World Crossing, with the little avatars. I liked having the wee avatars, now I come to think of it. I kind of missed them when we moved - and yet now this seems like the platonic ideal of posting boards, and the presence of avatars would sully its purity.

Or something.

Damn, I love you guys!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Steph...whoa! Petey and Bartleby could be related...seriously.

They DO look alike, both stature-wise, and in the face. (Petey looks much more Pit-like in the summer, when they keep him shaved b/c of the heat.)

What made it really sad is that she was the biggest sweet-potato-marshmallow of a lovey dog.

I know what you mean. My landlord's dog...a galumpy lab/shepherd mix with terrible social skills (sweet but woefully untrained) has, none the less, learned to 'smile' (read: bear her teeth) at people she likes. Sadly a) these are few and far between (and those of us who qualify aren't always glad of the fact...see galumpyness and attendant injuries) and b) it scares off people who might like her back.

Vicious cycle.

Yes! Even in the face...though Petey has more of the domed Pitt head while Bartleby's noggin is v. Dalmatian-flat. Which makes his ear-flappy running look much like Sister Bertrille.

IME, "Boo" is a sort of generic nickname that can be applied to anyone, like "Hon".

EpicPictures! Way cool.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Like...James Earl Jones? :)

Exactly! Except not JEJ because that would have been too cool for words.

"Pope" is a common last name around here (NC, US). And it's also common around here to give one of the kids the mother's maiden name as his/her first name. So while I haven't met a "Pope Swain Joyner" yet, I expect I only have to live around here a bit longer before I do. And I really don't know if PSJ would be a man or a woman.

Useta-could.

Pope?? As a first name??

Yep.

e. g. Pope Norris Williams. [link]
