The Minearverse 5: Requiem For An Inseam
The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Any of Paul's button-downs have at least a neck measurement. I don't know if they get more specific than that, and have like, 16 Gorilla Arms Pot Belly or 16 Stumpy Limb Thin Guy or something. But they are slightly more specific than S/M/L.
What Plei said. Usually those shirts have both neck and sleeve measurements, which when taken together are going to account for how much fabric is needed to go around his middle (e.g. shortish arms and a big neck = chubby; longish arms and big neck = not chubby, just big; long arms, small neck = tall and skinny; shorter arms, small neck, not skinny, just small). This isn't just a fancy Brooks Brothers thing. Even Van Heusen measures neck and sleeve.
Also? Although men's clothing is less confusing in some ways, it's more confusing when all the articles men wear over their upper bodies are referred to simply as 'shirts'.
I refuse to play. If the shirt buttons all the way from collar to bottom, and has sleeves that button at the cuff, it's a blouse, darn it, and I'm calling it a blouse.
I also call men's non-jeans, non-casual pants trousers, or slacks, if I'm in a mood.
I have nothing to say about men's fashion, despite wearing them myself. However, since we're down to less than 200 posts, I thought I'd contribute to the thread's demise.
Minearverse 5: Stop, collaborate and listen.
a million times yes. although I know people hate an earworm. in my head, that will be the thread title.
Tim, tell your lawyer HI! he should stop by and chat.
It doesn't earworm me, because I don't know the song (if it even is a song that is supposed to be the point of reference, which has now whizzed over my head twice). I'm tossing up:
Minearverse 5: We Let Tim Drive (not as fun-to-me as the first rhymey one, but... Anyhow, I'd love to plug the new show title)
Or, completed unrelatedly:
Minearverse 5: I've contacted my lawyer
Minearverse 5: I've contacted my lawyer
I thought he locked them all in the wine cellar. And the ones that survived he turned into zombies.
How about Minearverse 5: ...Drive On
as in FIDO.
Aside from the doggy pun, it connects to both the new show and an attitude about the cancelled shows.
Minearverse 5: ...Drive On
I like this one.
Again my overgeneralizations are crushed. *weeps*
What's the FIDO?
I thought he locked them all in the wine cellar. And the ones that survived he turned into zombies.
So Hec, are you saying you'd prefer Minearverse 5: I've Retained a Lawyer?
