Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The furthest I think we went that remember was the Cape. And that wasn't far enough to do anything other than bicker.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What's that game that's Somebody's Cat?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The minister's cat, where you keep adding adjectives in alphabetical order?

Thank you! I have been trying to remember for weeks.

So, like, the minister's cat is acrobatic, the minister's cat is acrobatic and blue, the minister's cat is acrobatic, blue, and cute, etc., etc.?

We used to play a version of that with things we brought on a picnic. And by we, I mean my friends and I, because my sister and I did not play together. At. All.

If I only had a brain...

I quote Sondheim at my kids and they quote Avenue Q back. But all sitting in the car and lustily singing "It sucks to be me"? Not so much. They hum along with the iPods.

If I only had a brain...

And they're embarrassed when I sing along with "Shine On, Harvest Moon". They can bite me.

Actually, nowadays a *lot* of people can bite me. There's probably going to be a queue.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, like, the minister's cat is acrobatic, the minister's cat is acrobatic and blue, the minister's cat is acrobatic, blue, and cute, etc., etc.?

Huh, the version I know (from the Albert Finney SCROOGE) was you had to come up with a new adjective with the same letter - you didn't add on to all the others, you just had to come up with a word no one had used (which means you do need to remember all the words, but don't get to hear them more than once). As in, the minister's cat is an acrobatic cat. The minister's cat is an angry cat. Etc.

Punishingly Intricate

We used to play a version of that with things we brought on a picnic.

My friends and I updated this in highschool to "I went to a show and I saw..." Like "I went to a show and I saw Anthrax." "I went to a show and I saw Anthrax and Bauhaus." etc.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

In Alaska, unless you live near a military installation, and sometimes even if you live near a military installation, the license plate game goes something like this:

Dum-de-dum-de-dum...Hey, there's an out of state plate!...de-dum...
