Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

So does the fact Drive is filming so late mean it's doomed to being a mid-season show or is there hope for the fall?

I dunno about "doomed." 24's done pretty well as a midseason show.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

Thanks, Topic!Cindy.

And when I said "doomed" it was more from the selfish stand point of me not wanting to wait that long than the show doing badly during mid-season.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Hello world. Kristen - did you take down The Inside scripts? I am just rebuilding TheInside.org (slow slow slow), and was going to put the scripts up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Kevin, I think this is referring to that: Kristen "The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People" Mar 27, 2006 1:26:23 am PST

I have taken them down for now and would ask that people respect that decision. If I can put them back up, I will.

Also, I'm not cool with the idea that anyone would take them off my site and put them on their own.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

What's the problem with them being up? The only thing I can see with the copies last online is they were drafts. Well, that and wolfram and hart might decend upon the land.

If I only had a brain...

Kevin, Kristen doesn't own the copyright, and yes, studios have been very sticky about that in the past, including sending law letters to sites that have scripts up. It doesn't (legally) matter if you have permission from the creators, because they don't own the copyright either.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Plus, to some extent it's just a respect issue. If someone is posting a script as a favor for a group of people (namely us), I feel that there's something...I don't know...weird? presumptuous? about taking that script and posting it elsewhere.

What is even happening?

What's the problem with them being up? The only thing I can see with the copies last online is they were drafts. Well, that and wolfram and hart might decend upon the land.

FOX is particularly strong in asserting their rights over those things they view as their property. Back in the BtVS days, their lawyers sent cease and desist letters to fan sites where people reported spoilers.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"Point of Origin" was fun. I like the way the team likes to fuck with their unsubs. "Framing" Danny for arson? Heh.

The thermal imaging sequence was really cool. It's funny because that was actually the idea that sprung to mind at Danny's line, but I didn't think it would work.

Jackal, I call him the Ice Cream Man. And up until that moment, I was thinking this episode worked better in order because the fire shots are just more glimpses of him, and it's not until "Little Girl Lost" that we really get to "meet" him. But now we see him in the flesh, and if the last two episodes do involve him, maybe it's better to have this episode so much later.

Working for the FBI looks like hard work. They're always so busy! There's no time to check TWoP and b.org and LJ every five minutes.
