Thanks for the ep, P-C. Watched, liked. Was completely taken in by the little girl fake-out, and abductor guy was cree-pee. The little girl who played Becky/Deena in the forest was quite good, I thought.

Was that ep the first in which we see abductor guy for any length of time ? I'm not sure what I've seen and haven't anymore.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

For anyone interested, the torrent thing for The Perfect Couple is c433f4f223822eb35a7601873f21095c01946812 - or at least I'm guessing that's the right number as I've never had to use it before.

Anywho, as for the episode - I enjoyed it. It was interesting seeing Rebecca actually being sociable at the club and then good seeing how awkward she actually is when not undercover. Although I was a bit confused why everyone said they were going home in the teaser, only for them to still be working on the case but that could be me being slow and missing something.

It was also great seeing Amber Benson in a completely different role and the look on the husband's face when he found out she had been killing the rape victims was priceless.

And it was good to see Mel and Danny's screentime gradually growing. The bartender definitely had a "Lonely Heart" bartender/Eric vibe though. Here endeth my ever so insightful review.

Also have a question: was Carter drafted by Web or is he just a technician in the same building?

Jackal, if you watch the teaser again they don't ever say that they're going home. You're meant to take it that way on first viewing, but if you watch it again knowing what's coming, that whole conversation is about the fact that they're going to be working late, not that they've just finished a late night.

That's one of the things I liked even more the second time through.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Why, whatever could this be?

[An invitation to e-mail me, that's what.]

(I haven't watched it yet; I'll watch it with lunch tomorrow.)

Hey. New board.

I feel so behind: after being one of the biggest lovers during it's US run, I have yet to watch 8, 9, OR 10, despite the fact that I'm totally okay with piracy.

Stupid not having any free time.

So Amber Benson gives good crazy. In a variety of ways, it would appear.

What's the name of the episode?

"The Perfect Couple."

As Jackal said above, it did have a "Lonely Hearts" vibe, although the thematics were completely different. But before I get any further, a message for VM fans: Mr. Pope!! He's only in the teaser for, like, a minute, but it's Mr. Pope!!

I also liked what Strega mentioned, the fact that we follow the killers. As I said before, that's one of the cool things about the show, is that it's as much about the killers as it is about the crimes. Some nice twists and turns.

I'm wondering now what possibly-unintentionally-funny-but-actually-was-intentionally-funny thing Strega and Tim were talking about. Was it "You sank our battleship!"? Because...heh.

What was kind of weird was that Roddy looked a hell of a lot like the killer in "Little Girl Lost."

Does Carter ever get, like, a storyline? Or...a character?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I made up my own storyline for Carter. He was once in Gunn's gang and took a correspondence course in website design. He turned his attention from poppin a cap in yo ass to the theme music "Gangsta's Paradise" to hacking, after seeing that movie with Angela Bassett.
