[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was responding to this:

it's not like the new "Battlestar Galactica," where alot of people were (initially) resistant to the re-conception.

to indicate that Who's not a re-conception.

Oh, I see, ita. Thanks for clarifying, and I'm sorry for the confusion on my part, too. Syntax is so not my friend these days.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hmmm, I totally misunderstood what Tamara was saying -- I know we're getting the 05 Who in two weeks (less now!) - but I thought she meant that '06 Who is starting in the UK in two weeks? Is it?

That's what I thought she meant as well. The whole season/series thing is very confusing. Damn Brits.

Who's not a re-conception.

It isn't, but from what I've heard from fans of the old version, it does seem to be quite a bit different in terms of style. For instance, the Companion doesn't normally have quite so much to do.

I think it's a lot more...sophisticated than the other 8, but they're all tied to their times.

Also there isn't exactly an 'old version.' Which was my point.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Sorry for the confusion. I was only talking about the 05 season on SciFi here in the US. I know nothing about what is showing in the UK except that they get The Inside episodes we didn't. Damn them.

Art Crawl!!!

All the BBC website would say is that the 06 Who starts in the Spring.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am having trouble not thinking of DRIVE as a straight out and out comedy. I also keep thinking of guest stars that could be considered:

Robert Conrad - what's he been up to recently? SO angry, so much funny potential.

Snoop - C'MON! you know this would be awesome.

Patrick Swayze - I am not sure I can express why. It is cheesy, sure.

Patrick Swayze - I am not sure I can express why.

Perhaps because of this?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

omigod, Kristen. Thanks so much for making me laugh.
