Wait, wait--what's that number? That phone number you call to request your favorite tv show on dvd? Can we do that? Again? Like we did for Firefly and especially Wonderfalls? Are they still doing that? Anybody got that number?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I don't know about a number, but you can go to TV Shows on DVD at [link]
I already signed up for The Inside, and they frown on multiples. Drat.
"For more information on new and upcoming DVD or VHS releases, please email foxdrop@4icc.com or call 1-888-223-2FOX." That's 1-888-223-2369.
I could be totally making this up and I'm too lazy to check (so sorry if i'm wrong), but I thought Tim (or maybe Allyson?) said not to bother because they weren't going to be making DVDs.
I don't remember.

This was already Nillied.
Short answer: The Inside DVDs are unlikely.
Yeah, I seem to remember Tim taunting us (read: Allyson) that he had them, and we (also Allyson) didn't.
I still don't have the DVDs, FYI.
Dammit. I managed to ahem the first 8 episodes, but it's just not enough.
I just can't see what Fox has to gain by sitting on the remaining episodes. Considering they've invested a not small amount of money in the show, why not try to make some of that back? They release cancelled shows all the time, what makes this case different?
If they've calculated that they can't move enough units with a wide distribution, why not make a limited run that they can sell exclusively on their website? They can produce more according to demand to maximize profits. If nothing else, couldn't they just release the episodes on iTunes or an equivalent?
