I take it we didn't see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow?
Cary was in it?
'Why We Fight'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I like the guy from Ed. He could play one of those geeky, cute guys like Jimmy Stewart. And while JS wasn't in "North by Northwest" he was in quite a few Alfred Hitchcock movies. So...he'd be suitable for a Tim show.
No, Laurence Olivier was in it, although dead. (Way, way dead.)
Yes, Betsy. That's how it works. None of this means you'll see a series, but that's the goal. The network greenlit us to shoot the pilot. So that's what we're gonna do.

Just make sure he's not flying at the time.
At least over uninhabited territory!
Shoot well and happy. (Or tragic and bloody, more likely.)
Have lost adverbs. Must shop.
we are very silly tonight.
I blame the soda.

Friends of mine did a radio skit over ten years ago about Laurence Olivier shilling for Coca Cola,
The audio is very choppy, to sound obviously put together from samples. "Coca Cola" is stitched together syllable by syllable. However, the last two words soar way more eloquently than the pitch deserves.
"Hello. I'm Laurence Olivier. I've been dead for over two years now. But though the marvellous technology of tape editing I'm able to speak to you from beyond the grave. What you are listening to right now was made by cutting together things I said in my many films and interviews. Although I never would have endorsed a product like this when I was alive, my estate has determined that if I was alive I would really want to tell you how much I enjoy the taste of Diet Coca Cola. I think Diet Coca Cola is really excellent dude. It's awesome. I wish I could have some now, but I can't because I'm dead. But take it from me, Laurence Olivier, maketh thy mouth alive with Diet Coca Cola. It's everything you want it to be."
Needless to say, funnier when The Vestibules do it. A fair amount is.
None of this means you'll see a series, but that's the goal.
Well appreciated. What tone are we looking at? Sexy? Funny? Sad? Macabre? All of the preceding?
