Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Everything Nice", the Jane Espenson penned episode of The Inside aired just there now here in the UK. Really reminded me of the Angel episode "I've Got You Under My Skin". In which I mean it was deeply chilling, had a child villain and and exceedingly well written. I like the little touches, especially the agent having a cigarette out the window and Jane Espenson is a mistress of the black humour "toddler on a stick". I laughed several times even though I knew I wasn't supposed to. Ummm that's it really.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So now this is the crafts, soaps, and cowboys thread?

Should we change the name? Or at least the slug?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So I take it you're back home, Kat?

YES. Was the check at C, even though I the folks at Doheny told me that C would hold it because they wouldn't make it to D in time? NO.

It was at D. And what time did D close? at 4:00.

Feh. I'm just disappointed.

Are you serious?! All that running around and no check? I'd be, well, more than just disappointed.

Yes. Well... yeah. But I got to see the Chalon campus which is cool. And I could sit in the traffic. On Sunset. Then the 405 and then beyond.

Actually, the MSM business office folks were really helpful and went above and beyond. I appreciate it completely, even if it didn't pan out. If I had gone directly to D, in spite of their office closing time at 4:00, the guy at the business office was willing to stay until 5:15 to get the check to me. But he didn't tell me until 4:55.

Simon, where you laughed you were supposed to.

"Though the law demands full disclosure, so 'with pool' might not be the selling point it usually is." It was a'posed to be funny.

Okay, so now I can mention, my pilot got picked up today. Go team.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Woot! New Minear show! Which network? Can you tell us what it's about?
