Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How's the job hunt going, P-C?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Eli Lilly responded (the first response since...the summer...no, wait, there was that one place in October or whatever), and I sent them a craptastic writing sample. It came at a bad time since I was still recovering from Austin, and I had to work all day, and I didn't really get to give it my all like I did with my other writing sample...which wasn't good enough anyway. I was supposed to have a phone interview yesterday, but there was some miscommunication and it didn't happen, so we're going to reschedule for next week. I'm surprised they're bothering to look into me, when the job posting says they want three years of experience.

Really, my best bet right now is the fact that my uncle works at a small pharmaceutical company in the Bay Area, and he's "99% confident" he can get me a one-year medical writing gig to start me up. So...send out any spare nepotism-ma.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I have a question. My name is Question Boy.

Am I correct in saying the suggestion of Becky paging Paul in The Inside, 'Old Wounds' (it aired here yesterday) was added during shooting? I swear I read that somewhere. I suck.

How did 'Old Wounds' get back past the Fox censors or what ever you call them? I am in awe with what was got with away. It was a great episode. My jaw dropped several times.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is that the manrape ep?

Aye the S&M social club and indeed the manrape ep.

Hm. I think worse happens on Law & Order SVU, which I always think of as "What's the Most Disturbing Thing We Can Do to a Four-Year-Old's Genitals, This Week?" show.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think having Christopher Meloni as one of the stars helps somewhat with that. Standards and Practices people probably remember Oz for comparison as they're watching, and think, "at least they didn't show anyone getting their genitals bitten off on this program."
