Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Hey, by 1966 there can be evil geniuses who use armies of robots...

You guys understand that the whole purpose of writing samples is to get jobs on shows that do not star Pamela Anderson, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Wouldn't that mean that the best way to guarantee you won't land a job on a Pamela Anderson show is to write a spec for a Pamela Anderson show?

Kristen - Jan 20, 2006 8:26:17 am PST #7647 of 10001

No, that would guarantee me not getting a job on any show.

I was born in 1966. Are you writing about that? Do I get born as an evil genius?

There are surprises on that Mars lander that you haven't told anyone about yet, aren't there Lori?

Everyone has to start somewhere, Kristen. ;)

ETA: Besides, writing for "Stacked" wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. It's FOX, though, so I wouldn't give up the day job just yet.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The Inside! On my TV!

It's funny seeing it not-downloaded. My room shakes with the bass from the score and such. Yes, it's The Inside, but so much more... TV.

Strangely, ITV4 are airing it in a 50 minute segment, so I think we'll have one advert break.

My gosh. I love this show. Really do.

I liked it. Does anyone know what it was shot it in? I was used to seeing Tim Minear's work in Angel, the film style of ummm filming (I'm so untechnical it's untrue) took me by surprise. And that's a good thing.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Dunno. There was some sort of finish thing added to give it the cooler tones and such, I remember.

Oh! Simon! Were there two beagles at the end and Tim saying, "I got nuthin'"?

Huh? Was there? Huh?

Tell me how awesome my Shout Out was, too.

Signed,
