Allyson! If you are here leave right now and get writing!
The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Eeeee! Allyson, I just read Beep Me! How exciting!
Should we take turns having food delivered to Allyson so she can concentrate on the manuscript?

I'm thinking we should FedEx her a carton of her favorite brand of cigarettes.
Maybe John can drop them in my mailbox.
Now I'm imagining Allyson answering her doorbell in Platex Living Gloves, cracking the door open two inches and grabbing the smokes out of her mailbox.
Good luck finishing your manuscript, Allyson. Go you!
I missed you too, Allyson. There was a distinct dearth of snark.
Congrats and good luck on finishing the manuscript!
Well, it took, what, four years? But I finally got around to watching that "Firefly" show I've heard SO much about, thanks to the SCI-FI Channel and last Friday's marathon, which I recorded en toto.
I started watching Sunday afternoon around 6 p.m. (CST), and figured I'd watch maybe 2-3 eps, and save the rest for another day. (Provided, I liked what I saw.) By 2 a.m. the following morning, however, I was still watching; and I managed to make it all the way to the end of "Objects in Space" before finally trotting off to bed at 4:45 a.m.
That show grows on you like a mug - and I'm saying this, knowing I've yet to see the actual pilot, too.
I thought I would have tremendous difficulty following along, on account my being, well, NOT futuristically inclined? ("Star Wars"? "Star Trek"? BSG? Such things tend to lose me - and very quickly, I might add.) But you know what? Practically from the start (of "Bushwacked"), I had no trouble understanding what was going on. Hell, two episodes in, I had relaxed enough to laugh at some of the best one-liners I've heard on TV in awhile.
"Firefly" was an awesome, awesome show; and f yeah I'm mad it came to an end too soon.
Oh, and Tim? If you're reading this? Mad props to you for "Out of Gas," far-and-away my favorite of the bunch.
Oh, sure. Minearverse is suddenly all about Tim. Pft.
