Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Weird Pitt.

OK, so from that picture, am I the only one that had a flash of Achilles being played by, like, a cat? Like, if they made the "Disney Robin Hood" version of Troy, Achilles would be a tiger that would look like Brad Pitt?

I think it's the nose. Or possibly that I'm insane.

(Almost lost what thread I was in because they're Troy action over in Movies...)

And then I remember that, the one time I tried writing a feature, it didn't go very well.

Word.

Look at who I cite as influences in my bio: aside from Dickens, and Preston Sturges and Billy Wilder, most of the people whose accomplishments I try to emulate in my own writing come from the world of television, whether primetime (Fury, the Lechowicks), or daytime (Marland and Long).

ETA: Of course, there could be only ONE David Fury, or ONE Doug Marland, but you get what I mean here.

My mind(set) is just too trained on TV to write a script successfully for the movies.

Art Crawl!!!

What's wrong with today? We're talking about Brad Pitt in at least two different places, what's up with that?

I was wondering the same thing. I mean, he's mostly cute, sometimes hotter than the sun (Mr. Smith, I'm looking at you...), but two threads?

I blame Troy. Cause frankly, why not?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I make no apology.

I don't think any apology is necessary. After all, you are so often the source of the pretty. Like Mr. Pitt.

Pitt in need of a matching handbag, with Carrie Bradshaw on the other end of the line.
