I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

If I only had a brain...

Allyson, try "Because he's an axe murderer." Show her the Angel snapshot.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

This has probably been posted before, but when I was rewatching Wonderfalls the other day, I was amused that the song that kept playing through Pink Flamingos is the theme song to Veronica Mars.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

This made me rewatch. I don't think I ever noticed that before, sj. Funny!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Made me think of G v. E, but I can't recommend that to anyone, since I found it boring.

you didn't even like the bit with Richard Brooks dancing on the hot floor, singing Matthew Wilder's "Break My Stride"?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you didn't even like the bit with Richard Brooks dancing on the hot floor, singing Matthew Wilder's "Break My Stride"?

Just never worked for me. Everything felt really flat and uncharismatic. And too self-conscious.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I caught one episode of G vs. E. during a marathon a couple months ago. It was kind of weird and offbeat, but it seemed like a fun show with a cool concept.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

It's The Inside we're lacking.

And my brain too, apparently. Oops.

On the other hand, playing on the beach in Mexico rocks.

Dear Allyson,

Where are you? When are you coming home? Why don't your parents have IM?

Signed,
Freaky Codependent Gurl

PS My mom sent you food.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

HA! That's so cute. Since we are leaving messages for Allyson:

I fed Ruby today. She hid under the bed. She misses you. Also, when do you get back? Should I leave yours and Polgara's keys in your place on Saturday, since we're leaving Sunday. We actually have one set of your keys.

Also, Kristen you could also IM me. I'm a crappy stand in for Allyson, but I'm online.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Who is taking care of Polgara's cat? I want to know if something I sent her got there and isn't leaking.
