Some of the lighting instruments were in two parts, a light and a mirror; the light pointed up and and the mirror focused on the stage. How common is that?
There are moving mirror or fixed mirror accessories that can be attached to conventional fixtures to make the lights more versatile or to shoot around obstacles. There are also "intelligent" lights that use a moving mirror instead of a moving head. I'm guessing it was the latter which would mean it would also be able to change colors and patterns and do all kinds of rock & roll "flash and trash."
I showed Dave the first two episodes of Wonderfalls the other night. He loved them, and I loved them even more on re-watch. It makes me sad all over again, that this little dvd set is all there will ever be of them.
I was in Best Buy last night and saw the Point Pleasant DVDs and it made me grumble anew about there being no DVDs of The Inside.
Grrrrrr. I mean, even Marti Noxon said that
Wonderfalls
was better.
Happy New Year, Minearverse!
Grrrrrr. I mean, even Marti Noxon said that Wonderfalls was better.
Then again, there are precious few shows in television history that Wonderfalls wasn't better than.
Well, personally I think
Firefly.
But I get your point.
I mean, even Marti Noxon said that Wonderfalls was better.
Wonderfalls has DVDs.
It's The Inside we're lacking.
Need... The Inside [Taps inside forearm rapidly.]
I had a dream last night that Tim and I were hanging out, and he became convinced that I had asked for 75 Serenity t-shirts and was very put out about it. I kept trying to convince him that I really had no use for 75 Serenity t-shirts, but he didn't believe me. I think he thought I was using him to make money on ebay.
Um. Yeah, not sure where that came from.
