JZ dear, may I have this? I promise to shine it faithfully and install it as my tagline.

Good heavens, certainly! I'd be honored.
Thanks! It may be September before it actually sees the tagline space. But it's so appropriate for me. I had to have it.
I'm sorry to hear the news about The Inside. I'd begun to get intrigued. Well, there's however many episodes the network will broadcast for me to love it better, and then the dvds to cuddle and love. Better than no good tv at all, she said, trying to make the best of the situation.
It does seem counterproductive, doesn't it? I mean, this is the reason I don't watch new shows unless I have some particular reason to. Why invest in a narrative when the network won't commit to it? It bugs me a lot, not just because of the taste issue (they cancel the good shows!) but also because it feels like a betrayal of the audience. Like Rowling's publisher deciding not to bother with a seventh Harry Potter book. Or whatever paper published Dickens's serials cutting one off midstream.
Which I'm sure either one would have done if the money situation dictated. But it bugs.
I don't really want to do a big podcast thing. It sounds like it'd be terribly boring and not worth the effort. Frankly, I'm just not that entertaining.

All depends on how you do it. Me and three more people did a commentary to Smile Time with beer and whisky on the table. That actually worked better in practice than in theory.

Drunken commentaries are all the rage.
You like how I headed off the Save Our Show circus? I AM AWESOME
Bah. Sorry to hear the news. I'll miss it, and I do hope to get to see the whole run.
