Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

On the one hand, YEAH!!!! for the great news, Kristen. On the other hand, I am not one little bit surprised. Not even a smidge.

And I am so ready for the Kristenverse thread.

Hello, I'm drunk.

Well, okay. Not drunk, drunk. But significantly buzzed. I decided to stop at my favorite Italian restaurant on the way home and have a celebratory lunch. With apple martinis!

Thanks so much to everyone for the well wishes!

I'm ridiculously giddy here. I'm, like, randomly smiling at everyone and everything. It's good I'm on the West Coast where no one notices that sort of thing and, instead, assumes you've just had bad plastic surgery or something.

Fury said, "That's great! Sweet. I'll keep my fingers crossed."

Awwww...that's so nice. Tell him thank you for me.

please to remember us little people.

I'm sorry. Do I know you?

. . .

HA! Kidding! It's not like I'm J WeeWee or anything.

. . .

Kidding again! See above re: drunk.

ETA: Allyson posted about me in Press! I feel superspecial now!

Well, you are!

Also, quite adorable while giddy and tipsy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Sarameg said. As happy for you as I was this morning, I think I am even more happy now.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm, like, randomly smiling at everyone and everything.

And we're smiling at the cutiehead talented drunk chick.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Congrats Kristen!
