I like the excerpt, it's very powerful and well written. I can't say anymore cause I suck as a literary critic.

That was a great piece of writing, Allyson, and from that excerpt (not the Vampire People one which I haven't seen), I can see what bon bon means in comparison to KC (not so much structurally, since it's a small excerpt, but the conversational tone of the writing).
