Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Custard-filled men. Now I really am hungry.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Actually, Zen, it turns out that men aren't so much filled with the creamy custard.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

actually, I'm okay with the discussion. To me, the only good doughnut is a hot krispy kreme (cold krispy kremes are just gross). Since there's no way in hell that I could get one before I teach class in the morning, I've become zen about it. Plus, I have Wednesday off, and I will go to the gym and make the workout redundant reward myself with a glazed doughnut.

"Ten percent of nuthin' is...let me do the math here...nuthin' into nuthin'...carry the nuthin'..."

Been lurking here for a while but I think this might be my 1st ever post. Just read this on [link]

"Meanwhile, ITV4 has picked up 24-a-like The Inside"

So I guess that means they'll be showing all the episodes? Wouldn't make sense for them to buy it otherwise. Anyone know any details?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hi Paul! I don't think I've seen it posted here yet, so thanks for the link. I'm going to have to be jealous of the unAms (again).

Swouncing

Welcome, Paul!

Here's the silly thing, for me, as the prude who doesn't download shows from that internet thing the kids like so much these days because of all the legal ambiguity and the copyright questions: if there's something that can't be found in any other way, if there's no way for the network/producers/evil demons/whomever a way to make a profit from the episodes, then it seems like there may be fewer problems, for me, in internet downloading. However, if they're being broadcasted somewhere, UnAmerican or UnUnAmerican, and available for the general public and don't depend on leaking or the like, this element is gone and again it's more problematic.

Now I've managed to confuse myself. Sigh. Posting about food was easier.

Well being an unAmerican I have no problem downloading US tv, infact I watch far more on my computer than I do on tv. If not for such tactics I would never have seen The Inside and would've had to wait months/years for Firefly and Wonderfalls (as well as all the shows I'm currently watching, many of which I'd never be able to watch, such as Veronica Mars as it's shown at 6 every day on a stupid channel over here.) I tend to buy all the shows I love on dvd anyway so that helps ease my conscience. In fact I imported Firefly from the US on the day of it's release before I even had a dvd player, also imported Wonderfalls but that'll probably never get a dvd release over here anyway.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

ITV 4 do indeed plan to air all the episodes, Paul. Ta for heads up.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

What does "24-a-like" mean? Cuz I'm tempted to think it means they think The Inside is similar somehow to the show 24. And, if so, in what way? Not that I have seen 24, but from what I have heard, nuh-uh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen 24. I'd say the main similarity is men with gravelly sexy voices. Not sure that's what they meant, though.
