Re: your whitefont

O chestnut-tree, great-rooted blossomer,
Are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole?
O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?
Which, I think, is what it's all about: finding the thing you can do, the thing in which you cannot tell yourself from the work.
ita should not be driving, Betsy. Jesus, you're merciless.
Oh, alright, I'll tell you.
I asked about something I didn't understand that he posted yesterday, and he said, "It's from Carousel, Betsy will understand...we really need to introduce you to musicals." I was going to make a comment that I'll do musicals when he learns to appreciate hip hop, but then he asked if I'd ever met you and what you were like. I said I had only spoken to you on the phone and complimeted you but can't remember what I said, and so that was that.
I know, it's terribly exciting. All that build-up, and Rosebud is a sled.
Didn't we meet at the LA F2F? I remember your bright vivid face.
Dear god I should have coffee. See how schmoopy I am before caffeine? Pathetic, I tell you. God forbid there's ever a Polgaraverse. I'll be writing poems in her honor.
I dont remember much about the LA F2F, Besty. I was so grumpy and crampy and headachey and trying to avoid humans so much because the last rational piece of my brain kept screaming that there was no way possible I could make a good impression on anyone.
FWIW, I liked you, and I completely understood the overstressed thing. It was a good party.
Allyson, that's very nice, what you said in whitefont.
To be clear, I never said a thing about Inara's syringe. And that un-written Firefly story had nothing to do with Inara's "big seekrit." That's a whole 'nother thing that you will never learn from my lips.
To answer Kat, I did have fun. And it was intimidating at first. A room full of people and me without an idea in my head. It seemed like most of them wanted to do Firefly, and I went with Angel instead. It actually felt like it could have been a cool episode. Had the bones of a fantastic teaser and act one. Not bad for an hour or so, which is how long that much took.
That's a whole 'nother thing that you will never learn from my lips.
So does that preclude typing?
It is kind of scary that one of the best hours of television ever was written in a weekend.
I want to see Tim at work. Does anyone know when the DVD will be available?
That's a whole 'nother thing that you will never learn from my lips.
Yeah, but what about your fingertips?
[great minds...]
