Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sadly, not as well as one might hope. I am still not living in one of the "landmark units" in this building: [link]

I see you and I have much the same taste in apartment living. Though my apartment with corner tower room is possibly achievable within 5 years (assuming good luck with steady raises and a vacancy sometime within that 5th year) instead of 500 years of saving from now, as the Central Park West address would be.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I only need like $3 million! It's totally achievable!

He's totally holding out on me.

And then I was at this other thing with rich philanthopists last week, and they all agreed the thing they hate is people pitching at them in social settings, so it's just as well I didn't ask for the cash at lunch.

But still!

If I only had a brain...

Apparently if you're an editor, people pitch you in the bathroom stall.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've also recently heard about a couple of people in my program who work for foundations and are always getting pitched in class. That must be awkward and annoying.

You should have offered to switch settings.

Maybe next time.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, I went to the thing with the boy and the Kristen. Composing review of Tim's teaching. I will also review his fashion choices and new glasses.
