If I weren't liking the show, I'd stay miserable watching for the rest of the season out of loyalty to Tim, hoping it would get better. As I did in 2002. And it did (get better).
I have trouble dropping shows. I'm very...completist, and I do always hold out the hope that things will get better. Because I'd feel bad for missing any good that came out of it. I stuck with
Tru Calling
for a while, and it did, in fact, get much better and more interesting by the end.

Anyone here heard anything like this?
If true, BAH.
Weeeelll, crap.
When they say "ordered," does that mean they'll at least show the 13?
It doesn't sound good, what with the source working at 20th Century Fox and all. But we've had rumors of stuff happening at work about ongoing projects that later turned out to be patently untrue, and until I hear something from Tim I'll remain hopeful.
I'm with Matt. It seems real, but wouldn't we have at least heard some 'save our show' stuff from Tim or Allyson if there were problems? At least hints?
To Polter-Cow and the other VM fans on here: Thanks so much.
Since my first post on Monday I've experienced the first season of VM in its entirety and I'm completely blown away.
To everyone else on here who hasn't checked out VM: these guys are right, it's just excellent TV.
:-} Where are our toasters?
I'm glad you gave it a chance, lilserf.

Amen. It took me a few episodes, but ended up being one of my favorite shows last season, especially since
Lost
became dead to me. And yes, I'll stop harping on
Lost
now. Soon, the zen calm will come, I'm sure of it.
