This guy, ita: heywriterboy.blogspot dot com
I'm not linking because he follows his referrer logs and then cries onhis blog about how fans either don't get it or want his job.
He's kind of like one of those guys who hits on you in a bar and when you shoot him down, he either calls you a dyke or fat. He can't believe anything could possibly be wrong with him.
Aha. Toronto.
::knowing and divisive nod::
Well, and he's a
Yankees
fan. From Toronto.
The blogger who loathed me
My cyber-nemesis had been trashing me for months. Then we met, and I had a chance to take a terrible revenge.
The blogger who loathed me
heh Steve Almond. We went to writer school together.
This is the part that stuck in my craw, and probably hit because I was a Bronzer, and hey, I'm posting in Minearverse:
re: fans - Not because they're not the single most important thing any show has going for it. But because you can't let them poison your experience of the world you've created. Just as you should not poison theirs. What does it matter if the symbolism you created in your show meant something different to someone else? So long as they're not willfully or crazily misinterpreting it (ie: "They're in purgatory!") let it ride. Allow them their ownership, and preserve your sanity, by maintaining the Chinese Wall between you.
See, the part that pissed me off is the idea that I'm supposed to buy the LOST company line, "We have a plan." Hey, JJ Abrams has a history of stringing people along for years on some great mystery and you end up with a big red ball and zombies. Pardon me if I don't believe that there's a plan.
Oh and this
there's just no talking to these people.
Bite me.
What the internet IS for, at least when it comes to TV, is cranks.
Yup. All those people who criticize me on the Internet? They are cranks.
Yet another "look at the naked guy in the Gay Pride parade" posting. Or, if you prefer, "look at the guy in the Spock ears."
Ah well, at least all the remaining actors in the cast seem very nice.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, gang.
If there was a plan, we wouldn't have seen the same episode for the first couple of weeks of the new season. Nothing happened. Nothing. I'm enjoying the nothing, but it's clear in their plan, they're planless.
