So let me get this straight, we have back to back episodes of The Inside next week. Hour one goes against the finale of Beauty and the Geek and hour two goes up against the finale of Dancing with the Stars. If you were going to have a grand reopening and give away turkeys wouldn't you do it after those two finales?
"As God is my witness, I thought they could fly."
Don't you hate it when you end up in the middle of a conversation between the time you read to the end and when you post your message, after laboring over it to make it witty and apropos?
Last night's ep was the first one I liked. Some nice writing by Jane, as usual. No "let's tie Rebecca up" scenes (although she was in more danger in that treehouse with Madison that she was with the S&M guy). More Mel and Danny. I would have preferred that the ultrasound anvil was dropped off the ending scene, but whatever.
I saw an ad for a Nanny 911 Two Hour Event. Fox really likes its Two Hour Events.
The perfect cross-over! The kids kill Nanny and Rebecca busts the little psychos.

Don't you mean "shakes their hands"?

I never got the feeling Rebecca was in any real danger from Madison, as (unlike anyone else) she would have had no hesitation about knocking out or even shooting her if the Bad Seed had tried to attack.
I assume that Madison's mom wouldn't be charged with the killing, what with the circumstances?

That's the impression I got. It seems to me she might have been able to bonk Henry's mom over the head to protect her daughter without actually killing the daughter, but I'm the one who always used to say that the cops should just shoot the bad guys in the leg, like that was easy to do, so what do I know.
I know if I were on a jury, any parent would get a free pass for killing someone that was about to kill their child unless they used a method that caught innocent bystanders in the crossfire.
What Matt said.
I haven't caught up on all of the posts about last night's episode, but I did want to say that this was my favorite episode so far. I loved how the closing scene mirrored the opening scene in such a super creepy way. I don't think I mentioned this last week, but I thought for a while that the potential serial killer in the making was going to be on of the kids in the house rather than the father. I thought it would have been an interesting twist for the episode, but I suppose there couldn't be two killer kids episodes back to back.
Wonderful episode. I love Jane. Tim, she must write more episodes in season two.
