Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I just don't think he could get a permit for gun towers in his neighborhood.

Tim needs no permits. He'll just shoot them when they try to serve him paperwork, lest the building inspectors disturb the beagle while he types.

I fought the law and I won!

The following is my inane fanboy ramblings...

I finally got Profit on DVD and tore through five episodes. I was suprised how much I could get behind such a bastard. As most of you know, David Greenwalt co-created both Profit and Angel.

While watching the show a silly idea popped into my noggin. If the Spike TV movie truly is to take place post-Not Fade Away, Wolfram & Hart are going to have to rebuild their firm in LA and who better to be the new CEO than Jim Profit. I know, I know, Jim wasn't a lawyer but then neither was Angel or the rest of the fang gang.

Jim Profit verses Spike? James Marsters and Adrian Pasdar in the same movie? Count me in.

I have no idea if Tim is still even doing the TV movie or if his new project with Chris and Zoic has put the kabosh on it. Though if Zoic's in the mix there's a chance it may not take place in the present, allowing Tim to have Profit cryogenically frozen and set lose in the future.

Sorry.

Barry, you have no idea how many times Greenie tried to get Pasdar into the Wolfram and Hart mix as Jim Profit.

It would've been great. Especially if you guys could have worked it out while Keith was on the show.

Maybe someday we'll get a rematch in the Great Voice-Off.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Pasdar into the Wolfram and Hart mix as Jim Profit.

I cannot even mention that to Mr. H. He might cry over the missed opportunity.

Was it schedule conflicts that nixed the deal, Tim?

Yes, Matt. Pasdar had a series, blah blah. Couldn't get it to work out.

Swouncing

Tim, did you know they're going to show "Serenity" in Israel? There's a science-fiction convention next week (on the holiday of Sukkot), and one of the opening events will be a showing of "Serenity". It may get to a regular release on November, as well, but I already have a ticket for next week.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It was that judge show right? I saw him on that on TNT one day. Totally jarring since Profit was the only thing I'd ever seen him in.
