[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I totally need to put your cute pink letter in the mail.

I glued my hands together earlier. I am a shortbus buffista.

Tim, beware, do NOT put ita's name in that song. It won't end well.

The fucked up thing? I was listening to Liz Phair and Material Issue sing that this morning on the way to work.

I once superglued two fingers together.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's the bright blue sun part that I really like.

Both Barry White and Al Kooper wrote songs for The Banana Splits.

Michael Stipe's favorite Banana Splits song is "I Enjoy Being A Boy" and used to cover it in concert.

The Bee Gees named their album Cucumber Castle after a Banana Splits lyric.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a traumatic superglue incident on tonight's Nip/Tuck, FYI.

My favorite Banana Splits had one of the girls (they were some kind of gang, weren't they?) repeatedly coming to the door and singing Ta ra ra boom de aye.

Or at least that's how I remember it.

Then my next favorite was anytime Penelope Pitstop was on. Next to The Buggaloos (which weren't on BS, but are linked in my brain anyways), Penelope Pitstop was my favorite.
