Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're here. Why would I call you?

I don't ever answer my home phone. Which means that I usually remember I haven't checked my voicemail in two weeks and have a bunch of messages.

Fortunately, the messages are rarely from anyone important as everyone important knows to call the cell.

Kat, gather the rocks. We can arrange a time to go throw them at her later.

You'll want to wait until I've had a chance to catch up on the huge backlog of voicemails from the both of you, though. It would only be fair.

Just this sarcasm or ALL the sarcasm?

The status is NOT quo.

It's been about 8000 years since I've posted in here. I'm so ashamed, though not quite as ashamed as I am of missing the opportunity to hang with Kat, ita, Allyson, Kristen, and co at the Serenity premiere--most of whom I've still not met.

My brain, she can be stoopid.

ETA: It occurs to me that it is funny that my main regret is nsm the missing of celebrity types but of other LA-istas. I'm sure this says something about me, though I'm not certain what.
