I tried to come back last year after Lost, but couldn't make it past about two eps. Then I gave up on Lost with the finale. Abrams shows are dead to me.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
If I won a phone call from Tim we could wish each other happy birthdays, but I fear I'm not chatty enough to converse much beyond that.
The problem with Alias 5.01 was too much Jennifer Garner and far far too little Rachel Nichols. I hope this will change and it will be more like Drew Goddards episode from last year that was silly, stupid, outrageous, over the top and damn fun. And most of all, not much screentime for Ms Garner.
Lost -- or as I like to call it, "shit sandwich" -- is super-dead to me.

I think I would be like that SNL skit where a tv show host says to the famous person, "Remember when xyz happened? That was great." Perhaps it was Chris Farley? Anyway, I can just see myself:
Me: You know Out of Gas? I think that was the best episode of any tv show ever.
Tim: Thanks. I liked it too.
Me: Yeah, it was great.
Long, awkward silence.
Me: Oh, so when are you getting Allyson that pony?
Pretty much. Perhaps a desperate "So, how about that Alexander Hamilton guy, eh?", hoping for a very long answer.
You could ask him what he's working on now. That'd probably fill about 10 minutes all by itself.
