All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I dunno. But the dude was just SO MAD.

And it sounded like he was mad at Tim.

So weird.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

"...Joss Whedon didn't want it to be that way. Tudyk was allowed to play it like that because Tim Minear said he could."

I have no idea what the fuck he was talking about

I'd bet it he was talking about Wash being loud and emotive in the pursuit sequence of "The Message" instead of cool and collected as he was in the pursuit sequence of "Serenity."

But yes, certainly something very surreal to overhear at the grocery store.

If I only had a brain...

LA weird.

Now if you were up here in the sane and sensible Valley, they'd have been arguing loudly about their IPO.

From now on, I'm shopping at Lesbian Ralph's.

it was so fucking surreal that someone was arguing about Tim next to the dairy case at the Albertsons.

This is hilarious.

LA weird.

When willa was visiting for the premiere, we went to the Bean for breakfast. And sat next to a pair of guys who spent the entire time arguing about the use of ellipses and em dashes in whatever they working on.

Though, now that I think about it, that happens here kinda often, no?

No, Hollywood and Western. Everytime I've ever stopped in that Ralph's, I always see a lesbian couple either buying meat, or in line in front of me.

The lesbians like the meat.

My friend Susan (not librarian, but a 6th grade teacher) outted me at work to the other gay people. I blame the tiki drinks.

I like working in a place where I like the people!

"Don' be e-scared"

that is fucking strange, Allyson.

And whoever said it musta been about Wash going Jerry Lewis in "The Message" is totally right. That had to be it. Also, and this isn't really a spoiler, there's a beat not unlike it in the movie. So get out of my produce!

He also used the word "nav-sat" in the movie, and I made that up for "Out Of Gas." So I believe I at least should get co-story credit on the movie. I may arbitrate.
