The King of Cups expects a picnic. But this is not his birthday!

The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Did I tell you guys that Tim is going to teach a screenwriting class?

Make them cute. Splash their entrails on the inside of the tube.

Do I pass?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

This is the description:

Story Breaking

An interactive exercise in breaking a single episode of an hour drama. We'll decide by consensus if it's to be an episode of "Angel," Firefly" or "Wonderfalls." Using a white board and the group mind, we'll recreate what happens in a writers' room, with slightly less profane humor. We'll conceptualize an original episode, then board out teaser and four acts. Emphasis on theme and structure.

Hooray for Professor Minear!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh man, I so want to attend that and pitch the one Wonderfalls story idea that I've had (while sadly lacking the talent to actually execute it as a fanfic).

My favorite part is: We'll decide by consensus..

Our sweet boy has never been to Bureaucraxy.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Teaser: She is awful dang cute! What's that? My eyes, my EYES!

Act One: Life sucks, and then you get a boss.

Act Two: Right about when you figure out your boss, there is a commercial.

Act Three: You were wrong about your boss.

Act Four: Ok, it was your boss, but he had a good reason.

Tail: Your boss is getting a promotion.

I pass now, right? Tell me I pass.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was thinking about having Joe go, but if Tim's not going to teach about Buffy, NEVERMIND.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I think it should be an episode of Buffy.

Cuz Minear really peaked with his work on Buffy.

ETA: Heh. Xpost Imperial goodness...

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I think it should be wonderfalls.

I would love to see how his mind got form A to B and still made it make more sense then your averge crime drama.
