[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, I just had some empathy for Paul.

Good ep.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That one really got me. When Tim puts a twist in, he puts a fucking helix into the story.

"I so wanna storm out on you right now, but if I stand up, I'll fall." --Jaye

That kicked even more ass than last week. Thumbs up, Jane.

Man, this show's not afraid to be totally...I mean, damn. Once again, I'm stunned.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, I just had some empathy for Paul.

Heh. I was going to post something very similar.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, that was the best episode ever.

Paul has never annoyed me. I've felt sorry for him, in that the way he seems amiss is that he's sorta a boy scout and doesn't find this at all interesting. He's on a mission with his heart on his sleeve. I expect he hates his job, but can't get off the mission train.

So I don't really LIKE him. I just figure oh poor-heading-towards-cataclysmic-burnout boy. I don't think he's equipped for this.

Going back...

Okay, RN has always read as tiny to me.

She's really not. I think she's my height (5'8-ish) or close to it.

Though maybe I'm on crack.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Good to know. My perceptions of things like this are always utterly crackheaded, so I'm glad to have the perspective shift early on in the series rather than after the idea of her being Buffy-sized was thoroughly cemented in my brane.
