[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Due to a lack of room - not sadly to a lack of obsessivity - I don't habitually save seasons. The Inside eps are now being transfered off of my dvr currently to a more permanent medium.

Can Tim have a new series now? I have room...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'll admit I'd pay to go see any movie Tim made regardless of content, but in case of a "Just when you thought his story was over..." movie about Spike it'd be buying a ticket strictly to see a friend's movie rather than because that I had any interest in seeing it based on premise.

I figure if I could keep watching Saint Cordelia for half a season there's nothing that could happen in 2 hours to shake my loyalty.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

We find out that Lindsey was straight?

Well there is retcon, and then there is retcon. I suspect at that point, I would just label it authorial fanfic and look for something shiny to distract myself with.

Eh, they half-tried to convince us of that in Season 5. Didn't take.

Seriously though, I remember stating back in the day that I'd rather have Classic Cordelia back than Lindsey in all his Angel-lustinghating glory. And the show bore that out. Nice as it was to have CK back playing a quasi-villain it was Charisma's swan song that made me happiest in terms of character treatment last year.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

Lindsey is not straight????? NONONO!!!

Wait....things are making sense now.....

I miss old Cordy and forever will. But then again I am still looking for Giles.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Allyson, I took this from natter, thinking you would be more likely to see it here.

Hivemind, I'm looking for the licensing revenue for Buffy. Since 20th is publicly traded, I'm thinking that the info must be somewhere.

I might be able to find this through a database we have at work. (No promises though.) Are you interested in any particular years?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I have a question about PROFIT. I picked up the DVDs and, in the spirit of bracing for the inevitable, I'm wondering is this going to leave me hanging horribly at the end?

I don't necessarily care whether or not it wraps up tidily ala WONDERFALLS, but I'd like to know if it's going to be a FIREFLY type hanging (where "Objects in Space" doesn't make a bad ending to the series) or a TWIN PEAKS type hanging.

I believe that, because the show was cancelled with several episodes unaired, it is truthful to say that we just don't know, Frank. I mean, they had to know that the show was not going to survive -- a TV show about how being raised by the television turns you into a sociopathic freak -- but I don't know how far in advance they'd planned.
